The Valencian under-21 women's football team with Benidorm Primary students
On the occasion of the 'Setmana Valenta' in Benidorm organized by the Football Federation of the Valencian Community (FFCV), with the support of the Departments of Equality and Sports, this morning the Assembly Hall of the City Council hosted the celebration of 'Valenta visits your school', in which 5th and 6th-grade Primary Education students from Leonor Canalejas and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores schools have met and talked with the players of the Valencian under-21 women's soccer team.
With the Assembly Hall full, the players and coaching staff were warmly received by the students and by the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, the councillors of Sports and Equality, Javier Jordá and Ángela Zaragozí and other members of the government team.
Zaragozí and Jordá have welcomed athletes and students, reminding the councillor of Equality that La 'Setmana Valenta' is part of "the commemorative events on March 8 in Benidorm".
In the meeting with the students, the young footballers who play in the first categories of Valencia CF, Levante UD, Villareal and Elche, responded to the questions they were asked, signed autographs and took selfies with the students.
This afternoon, at Guillermo Amor stadium, starting at 5:00 p.m. the tournament will be played under the triangular formula in which, in addition to the Valencian women's under-21 team, CF La Nucía and SPA Alicante will participate. Admission to the event is free.
