The Departments of Culture and Equality of Benidorm City Council have today inaugurated the exhibition 'Poesía Circular' by the artist Basi Sánchez. The exhibition, which can be visited and contemplated from today until the 22nd of this month, is part of the events scheduled to commemorate March 8, International Women's Day.
The inauguration took place at 11 a.m. today and the Councilor for Equality, Ángela Zaragozí, and the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, accompanied the artist. Zaragozí recalled that the exhibition is included in the 'Culture for Equality' project that her department has been developing for several years.
Basi Sánchez studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid and has experienced many arts and painting techniques. In her work, she uses light, perspective and colour using different and varied techniques such as collage, charcoal, plastics or acrylic. She has held numerous individual and group exhibitions throughout the province.
