The V Outlet Fair in Benidorm has already over 40 registered shops and also expects a record attendance from 15,000 to 20,000 attendees per day, according to figures transferred on Friday by the councilman of Commerce, Ana Pellicer, and the president of the Independent Association Traders (AICO), Raúl Parra. Both, accompanied by Concepción Naranjo from the board of the association, presented this event, organized by AICO and the department of Commerce, to be held from 30 September to 2 October. The councilwoman of Commerce pointed out that the aim of this fair is "that customers can access those remaining products in the shops at a better price". Parra, meanwhile, indicated that this event also serves for "promotion of participating shops" and generates "flows of people in the center of Benidorm" during the "low-season". Pellicer stated that "AICO opens this fair to all commerce in Benidorm", both associated and non-associated, and added that as in previous years, the V Outlet Fair is installed at Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España. The enclosure, 30% larger than last year and with more sectors represented, will consist of fifty tents. In addition to exhibitors of shops, there will be giant screens, restoration and an area for children and various activities. AICO president said that this fair is intended to be a pole of attraction for citizens throughout the province. Parra advanced to the V Fair Outlet is the first event of the second half of the year, to which will join some premiered last year like Halloween or Black Friday. AICO president explained that these events are programmed "to encourage consumption" during the low season.
