Toni Pérez participates in the debate on 'The opportunity of the European Funds' of Levante-EMV's newspaper

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, participated this morning in the debate 'The opportunity of European Funds: green and digital cities: the key to smart tourism' organized by Levante-EMV newspaper.

They shared the stage with the mayor of Benidorm, the vice mayor of the Valencia City Council, Sergi Campillo, and the mayor of Almassora, Mercedes Galí. Along with them, the president and General Manager of Signify Europa Sur, Josep Manuel Martínez, and the delegate of SICE-Levante, Antonio Ramírez, participated. The director of Institutional Relations of Levante-EMV Silvia Tomás moderated the debate.

In the debate it has been dealt with the opportunity of the European Funds and the municipal capacity to take advantage of them; initiatives and strategic lines set by municipalities, sustainability, carbon footprint and issues related to lighting in cities, their efficiency and energy savings.

Next Saturday, the pages of the Valencian newspaper will collect aspects and the essence of the debate.
