Students of IES Mediterrània's Hotel and Tourism publish a magazine of Tourism directed to the sector
The mayor, Toni Pérez, underlines that opens a new channel of communication between the educational world and the business world
The Mayor Toni Pérez has attended the presentation of the magazine Turisterrania, the tourism magazine of the Marina Baixa, prepared by the students of the School of Hospitality of the IES Mediterrània of Benidorm, which will be distributed in The CDTs and in the 21 schools of the Valencian Community where they impart superior formative cycles. The presentation of the magazine has taken place in the facilities of the educational center and has been attended by the director general of Tourism, Raquel Huete, and representatives of different local associations related to the tourism sector.
The director of the center, Luis González, has welcomed the attendees to the event and the mayor, for his part, has congratulated the faculty and teachers who have promoted this new communication project that comes to build new bridges between the Education sector and the labor and business world. The magazine is available in digital format in the first days of June and will print about one thousand copies that will be distributed in schools in September, coinciding with the start of the new course 2017-18.
