Students of gardening of 'BENIDORM INCLUSION' project work in Racó de L'Oix gardens
The 15 participants (10 man and 5 women) of the course of "Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers", integrated within the project 'BENIDORM INCLUSION', have had the opportunity to explain and show their work in situ to the councilor of Employment and Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto, during her visit to the area where students of this course are working in Racó de L'Oix.
María Jesús Pinto stressed that "the concrete project that has been implemented in this course is allowing an obvious improvement in a municipal green area and also meets the main objective that we set ourselves to undertake this type of training activities, which contribute to reinforce the employability and professional skills of young people who are not employed and not integrated into education and training systems ".
European Social Fund for Youth Guarantee
'BENIDORM INCLUSION' is a project Benidorm City Council managed by the department of Employment and Local Development and has the funding of the European Social Fund for Youth Guarantee. The project consists of three training specialties: "Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers", "Auxiliary Operations of Continuous and Under Construction Coatings" and "Physical-sport and recreational animation"
BENIDORM INCLUSION is training a total of 45 people (15 per specialty) aged between 16 and 29 years, beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System, who receive a scholarship of € 400 per month.
The total budget amounts to € 100,990.22 and is subsidized by the European Social Fund for Youth Guarantee through the Ministry of the Presidency and for Territorial Administrations in 91.8% of the total.
