Students from Benidorm and Lliria conservatories show their talent in an exchange concert held at the Cultural Center
Around fifty students from the professional music conservatories of Benidorm and Lliria offered a joint concert of string instruments yesterday afternoon at the city's Cultural Center. The activity was part of an exchange program between both centres, which brought 24 students and five teachers to Benidorm, including its director, Adrián Garrido, and which they plan to repeat next year in the province of Valencia.
The students from both centres performed several pieces that delighted those present, including the mayor of Education, Maite Moreno, and several members of the municipal corporation.
The concert program was composed of the first movement of 'Concerto in D major' by Vivaldi, the first movement of the serenade 'Nocturna' by W. A. Mozart, 'Palladio' by K. Jenkins, 'America (West Side Story)' by L. Bernstein and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' by H. Zimmer.
