October 2 the sports campaign starts offering 12 proposals in schools and municipal sports facilities
The councilor of Sports of Benidorm, Arturo Cabrillo, announced this noon that starting Monday, October 2, will be put into operation a new campaign of Municipal Sports Schools and Courses. Entries can be made starting tomorrow, September 19th.
Cabrillo, who has appeared before the media accompanied by the director of schools, Alfonso Alonso, has detailed that "the total number of students enrolled last year was 708 students" and is confident that this edition exceeds the figure. The council has said that in this exercise there will be municipal schools in the specialties of athletics, sport for people with functional diversity, football, maintenance gymnastics (in the mornings at El Murtal school and in the afternoon at Raúl Mesa Pavilion), gymnastics for adults on the beach, rhythmic gymnastics, paddel for children and adults, skating for children and adults, pilota Valenciana, School of Health and Sports (in the schools Aitana-Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Miguel Hernández and Puig Campana), children's tennis and adults, volleyball and - lastly - swimming courses.
Regarding the swimming course program, Cabrillo has pointed out that the technical staff of his Department is still developing the schedules and establishing modalities and schedules in conjunction with local clubs that will be "in charge of teaching as last year" and that "in brief" this information will be made public. The mayor has confirmed that these water activities will also begin on October 2.
Cabrillo has highlighted collaboration with schools and private clubs for chess, golf, kick boxing, self defense, ITF taekwondo and WTF and kung fu and has emphasized that registrations can be done face-to-face and online, starting tomorrow Tuesday in the council, in the Palau d'Esports l'Illa of Benidorm and administrative extensions.
Alfonso Alonso, for his part, has reminded that the registered people can register beforehand presented a direct banking order conformed for the payments. However, if you are not a neighbor of Benidorm, you must provide the DNI, NIE or passport, fill in the previous application and attach the direct order (also stamped by the bank). In case of opting for the telematic registration, the interested person must first register in the database of the Department. Alonso recalled that this new stage will continue "the municipal technicians who have always been and with the greatest hope and desire that everything goes well."
