Benidorm maintains its commitment to hybrid vehicles in the European Mobility Week

Among the events scheduled within the III European Mobility Week in Benidorm, this morning took place at Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España, an exhibition of ecological and electric vehicles, cataloged with the labels of 'Zero emissions' and 'ECO' from the Ministry of the Environment. In the first category, it was possible to contemplate those of the concessionaire of the road cleaning, FCC, and in the second taxis, police and from the dealers of the city.

Councilor for Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez recalled that the Local Police has recently acquired three hybrid units, which demonstrates "the awareness of the environment" of the City. He also stressed that in private companies, as in the case of the local taxi, these vehicles are "more than 50% of the fleet" and expects citizens to be aware and that people "want to change their vehicles to hybrids or electric "so that we all win in quality of life and environment.
