Sports completes the urbanization of ‘Antonio López’ sports facilities
The Department of Sports and Public Space have completed the urbanization of ‘Antonio López’ sports facilities, which in addition to the adequacy of the parking area and pedestrian access includes the environment of the new changing rooms. Some changing rooms that will be put into service shortly, as confirmed by the mayor, Toni Pérez, who along with the Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, and the councillor of Public Space, José Ramón González de Zárate, has verified the result of all this action in which 47,975.76 euros have been invested.
The mayor explained that “the parking area has been paved, artificial grass has been installed around the perimeter of the parking lot and the new changing rooms, the old gas tank has been removed, and a new tier has been created, thus improving the endowments of facilities widely used throughout the week by the football teams of the city, both clubs and the Amateur League ”.
Pérez has pointed out that "this urbanization work and the new changing rooms are part of the Plan for the improvement of municipal sports facilities" and "add to the actions already carried out in previous months such as the creation of shadow areas, the renovation of perimeter networks of the field 2, the change of the tarpaulins of the benches, the painting of the fencing of the facilities, and the placement of a press platform ”.
Also within this same plan "we are renewing the lighting of the fields with the incorporation of‘ led ’technology, which offers more and better lighting conditions to the fields with more efficient consumption". In addition, in the next dates "five new tiers modules will be installed in field 1 and the irrigation protectors of the fields will be renewed".
