Sant Jaume Cemetery extends its opening hours during the summer

Sant Jaume Cemetery is extending its opening hours during the summer months, meaning that from Monday to Friday, the cemetery will be open continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., according to the local councillor, Jaime Jesús Pérez. On weekends and holidays, the regular opening hours will remain from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Pérez explained that "we know that many of the people who regularly visit the cemetery are older residents, and with the extended opening hours, we aim to ensure that this segment of the population, and all other users, can visit the cemetery while avoiding the central hours of the day, when the heat is most intense."

Mare de Déu del Sofratge Cemetery will be open every day of the week from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
