The bagpipes and drums of Torrevieja Pipes and Drums, Chelsea Pensioners (soldiers pensioners of the Royal Hospital of Chelsea) and the Standards bearers have also participated in the parade.

"Here in Benidorm," Pellicer said, "you are at home", addressing the British who have chosen the city to establish their residence and, "on behalf of the entire corporation and the people of Benidorm" encouraged the Royal British Legion to "continue to give that example, to continue defending the values that unite us, to ensure the inclusion of the most needy and the coexistence of peoples without distinction of borders or languages."

Together with Ana Pellicer, the coordinator Robin Hargrave took part in the act; the vice consul in Alicante, Elisabeth Bell; the commander of the British army, Major Allen, and the president of the organizing entity, Donald Cubbon.
