The Provincial Council gives a grant of 2,286.51 euros for the preparation of a diagnostic report of the Municipal Equality Plan for municipal staff
Benidorm City Council has requested a grant for the development of an Equality Plan for municipal staff. To start such a plan it is essential to study the situation of the staff in order to be able to correct the aspects that give rise to inequalities or discriminations through the Plan.
The objectives to be achieved with the Plan are to achieve a balanced representation of women and men in all professional groups, promote processes of selection and promotion in equality that avoid vertical and horizontal segregation, trainning and raising awareness about equal treatment and opportunities, achieve a degree of balanced co-responsibility between women and men in the use of measures to reconcile personal, family and work life, promoting measures that correct the causes of indirect discrimination in the remuneration of municipal employees, integrating occupational health programs, the different needs of women and men, and promoting working conditions that avoid sexual harassment based on sex.
