The twentieth edition of the Adapted Sports Games of ASMIBE (Association of Disabled People of Benidorm) has closed this afternoon with a new record of participation. Around 180 children and young people with disabilities, from 15 centers in the province, most of Benidorm, have been concentrated in the Sports City 'Guillermo Amor', from 10.00 in the morning to spend a day of coexistence and solidarity, accompanied by their monitors and educators.
In 'Guillermo Amor' there has been a fun-sporting day in which the important thing has been to participate, there has been no competition and all the attendees have taken home their commemorative medals. The trophies ceremony took place shortly before 1 pm this afternoon, in which Social Welfare councilors, Ángela Llorca; Sports, Arturo Cabrillo; and other companions of the corporation, in addition to the 45 students who take the TAFAD degree (Superior Technician in Animation of Physical and Sports Activities) in Lope de Vega International School that, at all times, have watched development of the Games.
Since ASMIBE have confirmed the total absence of incidents shortly before starting the meal brotherhood, scheduled for 14.30.
