People with reduced mobility can already enjoy the Children's Traffic Park
The 'Kit Adapta' transforms bicycles into a complement for wheelchairs
This morning the Local Police of Benidorm has presented in the Children's Traffic Park the new 'Kit Adapta', a device that allows people with reduced mobility (children or adults) to adjust their wheelchairs to a bicycle and improve their possibilities of displacement.
The users of the Doble Amor Center were the first to use the new system that makes the Infantile Traffic Park Benidorm the first in the country to have this resource permanently in their facilities.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; The councilwoman of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca; the councilman of Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate; the councilman of Security, Lorenzo Martínez; and the councilman Human Resources department, Jesús Carrobles, have been able to test personally the adapted kit in the vehicles of the Park, in a day where users of the Doble Amor have enjoyed for the first time a circuit that, until today, they could not access.
