This weekend a new edition of Benidorm Festera Music Contest in Benidorm has been held in Oscar Esplá Auditorium, which this year has reached its nineteenth edition, and which has opened the events on the occasion of the Moors and Christians festivities that take place during all this week.
The natural composer of Banyeres de Mariola Óscar, Sempere Francés,has been the winner of the 19th Festera Music Contest 'Villa de Benidorm' 2019.
His work, entitled 'Khadija', has won the first prize after being performed together with the other finalists in the concert offered by the Musical Union of Benidorm last Saturday, September 28. The other finalists have been Rafa Gómez Parra, Josep Cano and Vicent Sellés.
The jury was composed by José Vicente Asensi as a president, Antonio Cuenca and Victor Vallés as members, Jaime Jesús Pérez, Councilor for Culture, Pedro Salinas, director of the Contest and Carlos Naya, president of the Association of Moors and Christians of Benidorm.
