Officials hired with the EMCORD program finish their services in the Municipal Brigade
The four officials hired by the City Council through the EMCORD program, aimed at long-term unemployed and subsidized by SERVEF, have completed their services in the Municipal Brigade of Urban Scene. During the six months that the program has lasted, these workers have focused their work on the conditioning of different municipal public spaces and their maintenance.
The Councilor for Employment, Mª Jesús Pinto, stressed "the importance of Social Initiative programs in the reintegration of workers in the labor market, since they are people who had been unemployed for a long time, which complicated their access to said market. "
The EMCORD has been subsidized by SERVEF with 36,105.70 euros through funds from the SEPE (Public State Employment Service), and is added to the EMCORP program that will also end in the coming days. In total, both programs have allowed the hiring of ten people.
