Normality in the return of the Foietes street market
The next few weeks it will be located in Mercasa by the assembly of the fairground on the occasion of Major Festivities
Merchants and clients emphasize the spaciousness of the corridors and the comfort of the enclosure
The market installing on Wednesdays has returned to Foietes on the occasion of the assembly of the fairground for the Major Festivities, and once the Conselleria has authorized the early commissioning of the two parking areas of Mercasa and the vials of access to this point. The councilor of Commerce, Ana Pellicer, stressed that the first day of the market in Foietes has been developed with "total normality." Pellicer has been able to confirm this; the mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilor of Public Roads, José Ramón González de Zárate, who at 08.00 hours moved to the area "to check 'in situ' how the assembly of posts had run and how it was on the first day." Pellicer said that "we had the peace of mind that it is an enclosure where the market has always been built" only with the novelty that we have inaugurated the new facilities with their new vials "executed within the work of the Foietes Park. Some vials also improve access to the area of health services and emergency vehicles. The councilwoman indicated that both sellers and customers "have highlighted the breadth of corridors and stalls," as well as "comfort" of new facilities and ease of access. Although the assessment of this first day has been "very positive," Pellicer advanced that in the coming weeks "any incident that may arise throughout the day will be solved."
