The
Festes Majors Patronals Commission this morning have presented its new official
application for mobile devices: 'Festes Patronals Benidorm', which operates
under the operating systems iOs and Android and can now be downloaded from the
AppleStore and Google Play Store. The application has been presented by the
councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; The president of the Commission, Manuel
Agüera; and Merced Rius, a member of a 'Peña' and representative of the company
that has carried out the project, Oversoftware, which has always worked side by
side with the Association of Penyes 'Verge del Sofratge' and the Mayorals of
2016. The president of the Commission, Manuel Agüera, has justified the
creation of the application because it facilitates that "everyone has, at
all times, the whole program of parties at hand." Since today
"everything works with the mobile", nothing better than creating an
application for these devices, "especially for younger people" that
is always connected, so they "are informed about all acts," he said. For
its part, Merced Rius commented on the ease of use of the new software that
allows, "the geolocation of all 'Peñas'" and also "of all the
acts" programmed. In addition to the application, Rius announced the
launch of '#BenidormEnFestes' to share all acts on social networks. The
application is free and its development has been fully funded by Oversoftware. It
occupies a mere 17.6 mb on the phone (iOs system) and is free of intrusive

mayorales and 'Peñas'.
