New directive at AFEM
The councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca Seguí, has received this morning the new managers of the Association of Relatives and People with Mental Illness of the Marina Baixa, AFEM, which on March 26 held the Board and elected José María as president Zahonero and María José Cid as vice president, of a board of ten members.
AFEM Marina Baixa is a non-profit association that develops programs aimed at improving the quality of life of both people affected by mental illness and their families. AFEM develops a permanent demand for the rights of this group, working for the elimination of social stigma and for the promotion of the social and labor inclusion of patients.
Llorca has encouraged them to continue the claim in favor of the group, noting the support of the municipal Corporation and thanked them for their efforts in the daily task.
