Neighbors and merchants from Poniente and La Cala are interested in the details of the urbanization of the sector PP 2/1 Poniente
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has met today with locals and merchants from Poniente and La Cala to inform them about how they will be carried out and what the urbanization work of the Partial Plan 2/1 Poniente sector will be, which will link the avenues of Vicente Pérez Devesa and Armada Española.
Toni Pérez has pointed out that the agreement signed by the City Council with the development agent of the sector will allow the development of the sector that has an area of 131,200 square meters, 61.50% of which will be allocated to green areas (19,024 m2), public equipment (24,928 m2) and roads and parking (36,736 m2). A 453-space car park will be built a few meters from the beach, to which 131 more will have to be added in the new roads and 106 from the new commercial tray of the Avenida Vicente Pérez Devesa.
The Partial Plan 2/1 Poniente has also planned to allocate around 45,000 m2 to residential land.
The mayor has also informed the neighbors that the developer agent will make a contribution to the municipal heritage of around three million euros that will go to works of social interest in the sector. Among the planned works, in addition to the parking announced, one stands out to avoid the accumulation of water on a plot of approximately 25,000 m2 or the construction of Avenida del Moralet.
On the other hand, the works will connect the area to be urbanized with that of the Partial Plan El Murtal II, through the Unit of Action 1 Poniente, since the development agent in both projects is the same and has already carried out those works. It is expected that the proceedings begin in about four months, after overcoming all the previous administrative procedure
