As in the men's category, the second place on the podium was also won by a local athlete, Eliana Sotelo, from CD Aguaviva Benidorm, who completed the course in 49 minutes and 12 seconds. Very close, with just six seconds difference, Esther Puche, from Petrer's CN Master Natural Swim, has also reached the finish line.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, have participated in the award ceremony for the event, in which more than 400 swimmers had initially registered. Three of the members of the quartet of swimmers from the Benidorm Swimming Club who recently broke the Spanish record in the 4x50 meter relay test in the Benjamin category have also participated in the delivery.
