The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has met today with the consular corps in the province of Alicante of Germany, France, Morocco, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland. A meeting that has served to strengthen ties between the Mayor's Office and the different Consulates and in which the parties have agreed in their interest to collaborate and work together.
Specifically, the meeting was attended by Dorothea von Drahosch, Consul of Germany; Sénakpon Gbassi, from France; Vicente Pérez Farach, from Morocco; Jan Arild Nielsen, from Norway; Björn Sandström, from Sweden; Ignacio María Campos, from Denmark; and Yolanda Campus on behalf of the Icelandic Consulate.
In the meeting, they have also shared a talk with professor and writer Charles M. Wilson, who next day 9 will receive the 'Distinción Europa' award that annually grants Benidorm City Hall.
