The selection process for the hiring of three people who will be in charge of developing the projects is already underway
The Marina Baixa Employment Pact, chaired by Benidorm, continues taking steps: the Technical Commission is constituted
The Territorial Pact for Employment of the Marina Baixa, chaired by the Benidorm City Council, continues to take steps with the constitution today of the Technical Commission, of which the municipalities of the region that are members of the body, the majority unions and the part business. As established in the statutes of the Pact, this Technical Commission is responsible for designing and preparing the documents, projects, proposals, and studies that are requested by the Governing Council, the Presidency, or the Technical Secretariat.
The Councilor for Employment and Local Development and representative of the Benidorm City Council, Mónica Gómez, has stressed that "we are meeting deadlines and procedures so that the Territorial Pact begins to roll and address as soon as possible the needs that our region has in terms of employment and that go through promoting specialized professional training, business management capacity and labor insertion of the groups that currently have the greatest problems when it comes to finding a job: women, young people and people over 45 years of age”.
Gómez explained that "in parallel to the constitution of the different estates that make up the Territorial Pact for Employment, work is being done on the hiring of technical personnel who will be in charge of preparing and developing the agreed projects to achieve those objectives."
Thus, a commission made up of the Town Halls of Benidorm, Finestrat, Altea, and l'Alfàs del Pi and the UGT and CCOO unions is immersed in the process of selecting the required personnel, who is a labor insertion technician who will act as coordinator of the actions of the Pact; a company training and prospecting technician; and an administrator. This personnel will be incorporated into their position before the end of May and will serve until the end of 2024.
These contracts will be financed by a subsidy obtained from the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor amounting to 194,541.67 euros.
As indicated in the report that was transferred to the Ministry, the Territorial Pact for Employment in the Marina Baixa, under the Presidency of Benidorm, will promote "the necessary plans to take advantage of the sources of labor insertion detected, and coordinate the public policies to insert people seeking employment and, especially, women, young people and people over 45 years of age”. In addition, they are going to "carry out training policies and programs" that "makes it possible to optimize the relationship between supply and demand in the labor market" of the Marina Baixa, "with special attention to the group of young people", as well as "promote the development business management capacity”.
In the same way, the Pact wants to update the territorial diagnosis of the Marina Baixa area within the framework of Avalem Territory program, in collaboration with the University of Alicante.
