Benidorm improves the image of La Garita street and implements pedestrian priority on the entire street
Benidorm City Council has completed an action on La Garita Street, which has improved its image and pedestrian mobility, giving priority to pedestrians along the entire road. The work has been carried out in recent days and has been used to widen the width of the road.
As explained by the Councilor for Urban Scene and Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate, the action has also served to "leave the street with the same ornamentation and urban scene as Tomás Ortuño street, which has improved the image of this part of the city and given priority for pedestrians”.
The councillor also specified that urban furniture and trees have been installed and "the floor has been repaired by placing non-slip and accessible material to prevent falls or any mishap in episodes of rain."
