L'Hort de Colón inaugurates the summer cycle with the exhibition of the Housewives of Benidorm

The exhibition is part of the 1st Cultural Week of the association that will end on Friday with 'Art al Carrer'

This noon has been inaugurated in the Hort de Colón an exhibition with a selection of works realized in the workshops of the Association of Housewives of Benidorm throughout the whole course. The exhibition is the first of the activities planned for the 1st Cultural Week. The event was attended by dozens of associates, as well as the councilors of Equality, Paquita Ripoll and Culture, Ana Pellicer, representatives of municipal groups of the corporation; the president of the association, Vini Pérez; And the director of the painting workshop, José Albero.

Ana Pellicer congratulated the housewives for their "untiring work" and for being able to "leave a mark on all the work they do". On the other hand, Ripoll, who has taken the opportunity to introduce herself to all the associates in her new role as head of the Equality area, has reiterated her congratulations and encouraged them "to continue fighting" in the development of the important work carried out in the municipality . Finally, Vini Pérez has formally inaugurated the exhibition that will remain in l'Hort de Colón until next Friday, June 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The activities of the Cultural Week will continue tomorrow, Tuesday 19, at 18.30 with an exhibition of the choir and dance workshops in the Assembly Hall of the City Hall. On Wednesday 21, at 14:00, it will take place the brotherhood food at the Yacht Club. On Thursday 22 the theater workshop will perform various works in the Assembly Hall, at 18:30. The cultural events will come to an end on Friday, June 23, with the opening, at noon, of the exhibition 'Art al Carrer'.
