L'Espai Coworking in Benidorm is complete after two new entrepreneurial projects have been incorporated into these facilities that the Local Employment and Promotion Agency of the City Council makes available to those people who are committed to self-employment and entrepreneurship. The councilor for the department, Mónica Gómez, has signed today the agreement to incorporate these new projects: one for legal assistance for trademarks and patents promoted by Lara Grant, and another for digital solutions, launched by Gustavo Galati.
Gómez pointed out that "we have always defended that Coworking was a necessary and very interesting service to favor the implementation of new activities and business projects in Benidorm and, by extension, to establish synergies and collaborations between entrepreneurs". "The fact that at the moment the nine positions that Coworking has are occupied not only corroborates the suitability of the service but also that the entrepreneurial projects established in these facilities are having a journey", she added.
In addition to the recently incorporated proposals, entrepreneurs dedicated to tourism intelligence, nautical activities, social education and 'mindfulness', innovation and technology, translation, private research, and 'online' real estate operating in the Benidorm Coworking. The entities Jovempa and Memba also have space in these facilities.
Since the start-up mid-2019 of the Coworking, located in the Aquarium building on Avenida Juan Fuster Zaragoza, more than 20 companies and entrepreneurs have stayed at the facilities. Of them, "the vast majority are still operating, some in our municipal space and others in their own."
The Councilor for Employment and Local Promotion recalled that the basic rental price is 150 euros per month for each work center. However, "to facilitate the survival of the companies located in l'Espai, the work centers are exempt from paying this rent during the first 6 months of stay".
