Benidorm Unión Musical pays homage on Saturday to its honorary president, Jaume Antón
Benidorm Unión Musical will pay homage this Saturday, July 15, to its honorary president, Jaume Antón, with a concert that will take place in the Cultural Center auditorium at 7:30 p.m. conducted by Ramón Lorente. The event is part of the summer cultural program of the Department of Culture and admission will be free until the venue is full.
The program will consist of two parts. In the first, Unión Musical symphonic band will perform 'Novecento', by J. E. Canet Todolí, 'Carmen' by Bizet, with an adaptation by Tohru Takahashi, 'Forza del Destino by Verdi, adapted by Eduardo Peris and the pasodoble ' Jaume Antón' by Salvador Chuliá.
In the second part of the concert, the fandango 'Doña Francisquita' by Amadeu Vives will be performed, 'Elisabeth' by Sylvester Levay, adapted by Johan de Meij and will end with 'The Angel of Apocalypse' by Hugo Chinesta.
