Las Fallas will shoot "mascletà" this Saturday on Jaime I avenue
On March 19, the weather conditions forced the suspension of the firing of 'les mascletaes' planned by each fallera commission in Benidorm on the occasion of San José. For this reason, the three commissions headed by the Fallera Local Board have come together to shoot a joint mascletà this Saturday, April 9, at 2:00 p.m., thus closing the 2022 fallero exercise.
The firing of the "mascletà", weighing 49 kilos, will take place on Jaume I avenue and will be carried out by Pirotecnia Alicantina.
On the occasion of the "mascletà", the lower part of this avenue will be closed to traffic, in the section from Ricardo Bayona-Limones to San Pedro-Armada Española between approximately 07:00 and 15:00.
Traffic will also be restricted from Maravall to Jaime I at Marqués de Comillas street. In addition, vehicles going down Nicaragua street must go towards Uruguay Avenue.
While the traffic cuts last, access will only be allowed to residents with parking or fords that are not affected by the installation of the "mascletà".
