La Torreta vaccination centre closes its doors today at the end of the mass vaccination campaign

Today Tuesday is the last day of vaccination at La Torreta del Rincón de Loix social center after the end of the mass vaccination campaign of the Ministry of Health. For this reason, the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has visited the center to "congratulate and thank" the work and willingness of all the staff in these months.
Pérez stressed that from the beginning "Benidorm was always clear about making all municipal facilities available to the Department" and recalled in that sense that "first it was at Palau d'Esports" until the Department chose La Torreta center "for the satisfaction of all the users who have come to both places".
The mayor has stressed "the comfort and accessibility" of both facilities, which have made it possible "to bring vaccination to the largest possible number of neighbors and groups such as teachers."
“Benidorm” has continued Toni Pérez, “it has always provided help from minute one and has offered its facilities so that these processes, which belong to everyone, can be done with agility and attention”.
With the closure of the vaccination centres in the Valencian Community "a process in which we have to visit and greet those who have carried out this task and thank them for their willingness," the mayor concluded.
