Alicante Symphony Orchestra will offer a concert on Friday at Julio Iglesias auditorium
Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Parque de l’Aigüera will host a concert by Alicante Symphony Orchestra (OSA) next Friday, October 1, which is part of the Big Recitals cycle organized by the Department of Culture.
The "Summer Night Concert", which will be directed by the professor Joan Iborra and is part of the 2021 Music and Theater Diffusion Campaign of Alicante Provincial Council, will have free admission and will begin at 8 pm.
Alicante Symphony Orchestra will perform compositions by Blanquer (Les noces de Libertad), Dvorak (Slavic dance), Tchaikovsky (Waltz of the flowers), Bizet (Farandole), Shostakovich (Romance), Ravel (Bolero), Lecuona (La comparsa) , Piazzola (Oblivión) and Ginastera (Malanbo).
Joan Iborra has been the director of OSA since its foundation in 1996 and a founding director of the Philharmonic of the University of Alicante. The OSA was born with the intention of spreading the national and international Spanish symphonic music of the greatest composers of all time in the province of Alicante.
