The I Cross Country collects more than 4,000 euros for Doble Amor Association
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, have attended this morning the delivery to Doble Amor center of the solidarity check of more than 4,000 euros collected during the Solidarity Cross Country held on 17 February in Benidorm.
The president of Doble Amor association, Casimiro Vila, was commissioned to receive the funds and the event has also had the presence of the councilwoman of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca and other members of the municipal government and representatives of other political groups . It was also attended by representatives of Coca Cola European Partner and Brotons group.
The funds were collected on the occasion of the sporting event held on 17 February, in which in addition to the payment of registration, you could collaborate by paying the registration of a 'dorsal 0', which had this charitable objective.
Doble Amor Center has been caring for and training people with intellectual disabilities in the Region of Marina Baixa for more than 40 years. The I Solidarity Cross Country managed to gather more than 250 participants to the event among runners, walkers and lower categories. The act had a strong family character in which people of all ages, conditions and modalities of hiking were cited.
