The last administrative procedure is completed that gives free access to urbanization works in the sector
The Local Government Board has approved on Monday the project to parcel up PAU-1 El Murtal, after estimating and rejecting the allegations made to the document, which is already in a position to register in the Property Registry. The councilor for Urban Planning, Lourdes Caselles, has indicated that with the approval of the parcelling project "the process of this sector is finally concluded, which began 16 years ago and which, due to various disputes, had not been completed until now." Caselles explained that once the project of parcelling is registered, "the developer agent will have free access to start the urbanization works of the sector", which is expected to build about 3,000 homes. The mayor said that these urbanization works will have "a significant economic impact", as "direct jobs will be generated" and revenues will be obtained for the municipal coffers. The PAU-1 El Murtal is one of the most important urban plans of those included in the General Urban Development Plan (PGOU) of 1990, pending development and affects an area of about 900,000 square meters.
