Fifty children and young people from Benidorm are finishing the last days of the summer camp organized by Youth department
Fifty children from 8 to 16 from Benidorm are finishing the last days of their stay in the summer camp organized by the Department of Youth, directed by Ana Soliveres, and which is taking place in the province of Valencia. Accompanied by the five monitors that make up the animation team, these minors arrived on June 30 at the Navalón-Enguera youth camp, which is part of the hostel network of the Valencian Youth Institute (IVAJ) and is located in a pine forest in the Sierra de Enguera.
During the two-week duration of the camp, Benidorm children and young people enjoy and practice different activities, such as cultural outings, workshops, hiking, games, monographic days, environmental initiatives and theatre and musical proposals.
The councillor of the department has highlighted "the great reception that, once again, this camp has had, which encourages contact between children and young people of different ages" who "for two weeks share experiences and leisure time in the middle of nature, increasing their knowledge about the environment and reinforcing values such as collaboration, camaraderie or teamwork.”
The price of the camp, which is part of the IVAJ offer, is 325 euros.
