The City Council will introduce this change in the municipal edict
The Councils of Fiestas and Citizen Security will require the clubs that most of its members are over 18 years. The councilor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, has indicated that "we are going to change the municipal edict of the Major Patron Saint Festivities to introduce this requirement", so that only the clubs whose components are mostly adults will be authorized.
Carrobles has explained that "with this change we are adapting to the autonomic regulations, which requires for the opening of the clubs a series of obligations that can not be assumed by minors." Specifically, the councillor has referred to the decree 28/2011 of Regulation and to the order 1/2013.
This change in the requirements for the authorization of clubs and in the municipal edict has already been communicated to the Association of Clubs, which are holding meetings to address issues such as fiestas schedules or security measures to be established in acts like the Day of the Clubs.
