‘Estiu al Museu’ arrives, four free creative workshops in Boca del Calvari
The Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage has designed 'Estiu al Museu' initiative, a series of four free creative workshops that will be held every Friday in August in Boca del Calvari. The councillor of the department, Ana Pellicer, explained that "with this initiative, in addition to expanding the cultural and leisure offer during the summer, we seek to energize our Museum by taking advantage of the versatility and possibilities offered by these facilities."
Pellicer detailed that the first workshop, scheduled for August 4, will be dedicated to floral art, will be taught by Nina, from Florísima flower shop, and in it, the participants will create their floral arrangement. A week later, on Friday the 11th, it will be time for music, with an innovative proposal to give graphic form to the sound of the hands of Carlos Izquierdo. On August 18, Carlos Llorens will lead the initiation workshop on the collage technique. The last proposal, on August 25, will revolve around photography, and more specifically the self-portrait with Lucía Morante.
All the workshops will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Museum.
The Councilor for Historical and Cultural Heritage has encouraged people "creative or interested in discovering and exploring new disciplines" to "take advantage of this opportunity and share two hours of knowledge and experimentation with renowned professionals, who are also enthusiastic about the dynamics of these workshops, in which the contact is direct”.
To participate in the workshops, aimed at people over 12 years of age, all you have to do is register via email biblioteca@benidorm.org.
