The Department of Equality is already preparing the fourth edition of 'Documóvil', the film and genre project "aimed at students from 3rd year of ESO to 2nd year of Bachelor and vocational training cycles" and in which "students begin in audiovisual production and he shoots his own short films with gender equality as the central theme of the works ”, as indicated by the mayor of the area, Ángela Zaragozí.

The councilor recalled that “in‘ Documóvil ’the students receive audiovisual training and also in gender equality; theoretical and practical knowledge that they later translate into the short films that they write, script and shoot with professional teams ”.

"In the three previous editions - he pointed out - we have verified that, in addition, this activity stimulates and encourages collaborative work between the participating girls and boys, and has even captured the interest of people who dedicate themselves to theater in an 'amateur' and who have wanted to participate in the short films shot by the students ”.

Zaragozí has ​​reported that "in the first three editions around fifty students have participated in 'Documóvil' who, as they have transferred us, have greatly enjoyed this activity, which has allowed them to develop their creativity and make known which it is their vision of gender equality and the reality that surrounds it ”.

From the previous editions, “16 short films” have emerged that later “have been shown in public screenings and also in the educational centers themselves, thus helping to sensitize the younger population and make them a participant in gender equality and diversity”.
