Doble Amor Center of Benidorm celebrates its 17th Petanque Tournament

Today the facilities of Guillermo Amor Sports City hosted the celebration of the 17th edition of the Petanque Tournament organized by the Doble Amor Occupational Center, a day in which the protagonist was the good atmosphere among the participants, which culminated with the presentation of trophies for the teams that have taken part.

This year, teams of councillors, residents of Els Tolls, Red Cross, Local Police, Firefighters, Benidorm Petanque Club and the Doble Amor occupational centre competed for the trophy.

At the end of the day, prizes were awarded to all participants. The councillors of Social Welfare and Festivities, Ángela Zaragozí and Mariló Cebreros, were in charge of presenting the trophies, before the president of Double Love, José Luis Calvo, thanked the Petanque Club and the City Council for their support “because without you we would not be able to celebrate it.”

The competition ended with an 'aperitive' in the sports city facilities where attendees have been sharing anecdotes about the tournament and with the desire and confidence that it will add to many more editions.
