The Central Library of Benidorm proposes two Christmas workshops for 'Little Literary Explorers'
The Central Library of Benidorm proposes two workshops for 'Little Literary Explorers' for the next Christmas holidays, aimed at children aged 3 and up. The Councilor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, explained that “they are free activities for children designed so that the little ones can enjoy magical moments between books and stories during these dates.”
The first of the workshops, 'The Magic of Christmas', is scheduled for Tuesday, December 26 at 5:30 p.m. and in it, participants will "festive readings, shared activities and will even create their own Christmas decorations." 'Sharing books and stories' is the title of the second workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, January 3 at noon, also in the children's room of the library. In this case, it is “an interactive session in which, through reading and games, children will discover ideas and stories behind some books and create new ones.”
Due to the limited capacity of the room, to participate in the workshops it will be necessary to register in advance through the email library@benidorm.org.
Pellicer pointed out that "these Christmas workshops are part of the reading promotion activities that are promoted and organized by the Library throughout the year, aimed especially at children and young people." The latest initiative is the Reading Club for young people aged 14 to 18, which has its next appointment on January 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the work 'Fahrenheit 451' as the protagonist.
