Cultura presents the cycle 'Grandes Recitales 2018' which is held every Friday during the month of October

Cultura presenta el ciclo ‘Grandes Recitales 2018’ que se celebra todos los viernes del mes de octubre

The mayor of Culture, Ana Pellicer, and the director of the Municipal Conservatory of Music José Pérez Barceló, José Miguel Mollá, have presented this morning the cycle 'Grandes Recitales 2018', which will offer free concerts every Friday in the month of October in the Assembly Hall of Benidorm City Council.

In this third edition, the cycle has 4 concerts on 5, 12, 19 and 26 October. On October 5 the opening concert will be held by the Seville pianist José María Villegas, winner of important national and international prizes. On October 12 the concert will be held in duo by Francisco Fullana, violinist and José María Villegas pianist.

Pellicer stressed that "one of the novelties of this year will be the concert on the 19th, which will be offered by students from our conservatory awarded at the Marina Baixa inter-center competitions". These young interpreters are Joel Conejero Nogueroles, Pablo Carbonell Galiana, Mar Navarro Ivars, Adrián Vaello Pérez, Ángela Esquerdo Soler, Sergio Comín Pérez, Antonio Albert Prats, Francisco Javier Gómez Pla and Joamba Pérez Mingot

The closing of the cycle will be on the 26th with the duet concert of the saxophonist from Benidorms Ignacio Gascón and the pianist Ivet Frontela. All concerts will be held in the Assembly Hall of the City Hall at 8:00 p.m. Pellicer stressed that "we hope that the room will be filled in all the concerts as it has happened in the previous editions, because it is a first class musical offer for our city".
