Commerce and Aico raffle 3000 euros in purchases to celebrate Valentine's Day in Benidorm
The winner will have a limousine and three hours to spend the money in any of the shops of the city
The Department of Commerce and the Independent Association of Merchants of Benidorm, AICO, this morning presented the campaign to promote local trade on the occasion of the celebration of Valentine's Day.
The mayor of Commerce, Ana Pellicer, and the president of AICO, Raúl Parra, explained how this initiative will develop, which has "all the support of the City Council," said Pellicer, "because they give life to our businesses." Pellicer believes that this initiative of the Association is "a great incentive" and offers "a big prize" to a sector that, "after the sales is a little reduced sales." The council has stressed that this proposal involve members and non-members of AICO and those who are not yet has encouraged them to join in order to benefit from "the great initiatives they have."
For his part, Raul Parra thanked the support of the City "in a special year for AICO since it is his fortieth anniversary." That's why the association intends to throw the house out the window on Valentine's Day. The president has debuted how this campaign will start today, until the 13th that will be announced the winner. Participants who make three purchases in an establishment, may deposit a coupon in an urn (of which there will be ten distributed throughout Benidorm). The winner will receive "a check with 3,000 euros" that can be exchanged for purchases in any establishment in the city "with an amount limited to 300 euros per trade." To make it even more spectacular, AICO will put at the disposal of the winning person a limousine with which it will be possible to cross Benidorm from tip to tip looking for the products that are wanted, although only will be available "of three hours to do it".
AICO has published for the occasion 50,000 flyers, posters and tickets "to be distributed in the 2000 shops of Benidorm", whether or not affiliated with the association.
