Specialists mark several observations to the project sent by the department of Education

Specialists of Benidorm City Hall have reported favorably on the implementation project presented last week by the Ministry of Education to complete the extension of the Institute of Secondary Education (IES) Pere Mª Orts i Bosch, paralyzed for six years and the only need to run about 15%.

The mayor, Toni Pérez, stated that "we have acted with the utmost diligence to respond quickly and efficiently the request made by the department to change ownership and updating of the work permit so that the expansion and reform of the IES can be resume as soon as possible and thus complete the adequacy of the IES dean of the city. "

From the areas of Architecture, Engineering and Legal Advice have already issued the reports giving the approval to the updated implementation project.

The councilor for Town Planning, Lourdes Caselles, has indicated that all these reports are "favorable" to the project execution, although from Engineering "several observations have been made that should be taken into account when executing the works", such as Connection of the rainwater network from the center to the municipal or the execution of the connections of the building to the service networks such as potable water and sewerage. Likewise, from Architecture it has been required that before the beginning of the works, "the appointment of the Faculty of Construction" is communicated.

Caselles explained that the change of ownership of the license "was already authorized yesterday by decree" and, therefore, only has to be approved on Monday in Local Government Board - and after the corresponding opinion of the Urban Planning Information Committee - the update of That work permit once observed the execution project.

Once completed the municipal administrative procedures, the City Council is waiting for the Ministry of Education to transfer the schedule for the resumption and completion of the works.
