Commerce and AICO organize the 9th edition of the Outlet Fair, which will be held from October 28 to 30

At Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España will be hosted from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 October, this weekend, the ninth edition of the Outlet Fair organized by the Association of Merchants (AICO) and the Department of Commerce of the City Council. This activity, which is now recovering, was held for the last time in 2019 and later stopped due to the pandemic.

The Councilor for Commerce, Lorenzo Martínez, presented the event at a press conference together with the president of the merchants, Raúl Parra, who stressed: "that we can return to normality at a fair that is in high demand and that we are continually asked for".

The purpose of the activity is "to reduce stock in warehouses", said Parra, who also added that the participating establishments "will offer top quality products and all products must have at least a 50% discount on the selling price in store.

The fair will have a total of 25 tents and up to 11 participants from sectors such as footwear, sports, fashion, electrical appliances, confectionery or leather goods, among others. There will be a bar so that attendees can make use of it and raffles will be held among purchasers of redeemable checks for a total value of 550 euros.

Raúl Parra has specified that this year's edition "is a little smaller than previous ones in terms of participants and tents, but after what we have been through we believe it is a good start for the coming years."

The fair will open its doors on Friday at 10:30 in the morning and will remain open until 9:30 at night without interruption. The schedule will be the same for all three days. The official inauguration, with a visit from the authorities, will take place next Friday at 12 noon.
