15 young people under 30 participated in the program with the aim of improving their labor insertion
Closure of the course on landscaping and maintenance of green tourism spaces
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has closed this morning with the councillor of Employment, Promotion and Local Development, María Jesús Pinto, the course on landscaping and maintenance of green tourism spaces, which involved 15 young people under 30 years , and that has been developed in the Training Center for Employment "Pepita Puchades" and in public landscaped areas of the city. Young people have received a scholarship of 400 euros per month and a certificate of professionalism that improves their chances of employment.
This training workshop is part of BENIDORM INCLUSION training project that consists of three specific itineraries with their corresponding certificates of professionalism: "Landscaping and Maintenance of Green Tourist Spaces", "Auxiliary operations of continuous coatings under construction" and "Physical-sport activities and recreational ", in which a total of 45 young people of both sexes participate (15 per specialty) and is co-funded by the Youth Employment Initiative of the European Social Fund within the framework of the Youth Guarantee.
The itineraries proposed in BENIDORM INCLUSION respond to the local needs that generate employment detected in the Employment and Local Development Agency of the Benidorm City Council. The general objective is to improve the employability of young people in the municipality registered in the file of the National Youth Guarantee System. In these workshops, training is alternated with professional practice in each of the specialties, based on the National Qualification Catalog and recognized homologations.
In this sense, the specific objectives pursued have been to provide the beneficiaries with adequate theoretical and practical training in the professional certificates of "Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers". Provide participants with professional practices in which to gain experience in a real work environment, and insert students in the local labor market. It also aims to promote knowledge of languages and new information and communication technologies among young participants and promote the social economy and self-employment.
