La Ciudad Deportiva ‘Guillermo Amor’ acoge el Torneo Provincial de Petanca organizado por el Centro Doble Amor

Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor hosted yesterday one of the preliminary phases of the Level II Petanque Championship, which was held on the slopes of Club Petanca Playas de Benidorm, as the city was one of the three venues chosen.

The sporting event was organized by Doble Amor Occupational Center and was attended by players from other occupational centers in the province such as the C.O. San Rafael, from Santa Faz; CO. San Juan; CO. Maigmó, from San Vicente; CO. Sense Barreres, by Petrer; CO. Terramar, from Alicante and C.O. Doble Amor Benidorm.

Parallel to this event, other competitions were also held in Almoradí and Aspe and from all of them the six teams that will compete in the final phase of the championship will come out.

The sports day passed in the midst of a great atmosphere of sportsmanship and integration among all attendees, with camaraderie as the protagonist. The games were hotly contested and they shared experiences related to sports practice.

At the end of the competition, Doble Amor Centre offered a 'snack' to the attendees, with the presence of the Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, and the center's director, Luis Alfonso Muñoz, who handed out the diplomas for passing to the final for the San Juan and Sense Barreres teams, and participation diplomas for the rest of the participating centers.
