The City Council solves 72% of the incidents received through the Green Line...

Benidorm City Council has processed and solved 72% of the queries and incidents raised by companies and citizens through the free Green Line service of the Department of the Environment, the head of the area, Mónica Gómez, has announced today. Green Line can be accessed through the website www.lineaverdebenidorm.com, from the mobile application of the same name, and from the telephone number 902 193 768.

The Councilor for the Environment has highlighted the "exponential growth" experienced by the service in recent years and "the efficiency" of the local administration "in resolving incidents reported by neighbors" to whom the councillor thanked "the collaboration in the solution of environmental problems that affect us all ”.

The mayor has specified that the most frequent type of incidents reported refer to "sidewalks and driveways, followed by cleaning, lighting, parks and gardens and Traffic." Gómez has encouraged citizens to use the free Green Line application from their mobile phones, available in the Apple Store for iOs and on Google Play for Android. "Once it is unloaded - she has specified it - you only have to select our municipality and report the incident so that the Municipal Services get to work."

Informing the City Council of any problem is very simple. All you have to do is click on the "New incident" option and select from the options that appear automatically in the drop-down menu. "The app - underlines Gómez - detects the GPS coordinates of the damage and allows you to send a photograph taken with the same phone." Once received, "the procedures to reach a solution are started and the user can receive notifications about the progress of the status of the incident as they occur".

The Councilor for the Environment has also clarified that from the application, the citizen "can raise any environmental question by selecting the tab 'Make your query' that the team of municipal experts answers within a maximum period of 24 hours."

The Green Line service is free from the web and mobile devices 24 hours a day. If you opt for the consultation through the number 902 193 768, it has a cost of 0.07 euros per minute and a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., working days.
