For this, architectural barriers have been eliminated and specific devices for deafblind people have been installed.

The councilman of Urban Scene, José Ramón González de Zárate, has indicated that "almost 225,000 euros have been invested in carrying out about twenty performances, mainly in the neighborhoods of Colonia Madrid and Els Tolls". Some actions that have focused "on the construction of lugs and recesses on sidewalks, on the elimination of stairs and their replacement by ramps".

Specifically, it has been acted in: the crossing of the streets Irland and Inglaterra; in Luxemburgo and Suecia with Portugal; on Noruega Avenue and its crossings with Andalucía and Bélgica; in Luxemburgo with Andalucía; in Atocha with Arnedo and Florida; in Andalucía street; in a ford in Portugal street; at the intersection of traffic lights located between Avenida del Mediterráneo and Calle Mallorca; on the path located next to Juan Antonio Baldoví street; on the south side of the bridge of Alfonso Puchades; and in the streets Tordo and Jilguero.

In addition to that part of the stairs that gave access to the square located at the confluence of Jaime I Avenue and Castellana Street has been eliminated, where a ramp has been built that facilitates access to this public space equipped with games for children and adults . A work that this morning has visited, among others, the mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca; and the councillor of Urban Scene.

In addition, of the indicated works, pulsars for deafblind persons have been installed in the traffic light junction of the Alfonso Puchades and Andalucía avenues.

De Zárate pointed out that "once the works initially planned in the Accessibility Plan were completed, the 'extra' works that have been added were carried out thanks to the company offering a 44% increase in measurement". Of all the improvements "the only one that is pending, and that will be implemented in the next few days, is the improvement of access from Orxeta Street to the square where the ONCE headquarters are located and public services such as the Tax Agency "

The person in charge of Urban Scene explained that "in addition to attending the needs detected by the municipal technicians, at the time of drawing up the Accessibility Plan we have taken into account the suggestions that social or neighborhood groups have moved us".
