The City Council announces grants for the acquisition of school supplies 2021-2022

The Department of Education has summoned grants for the acquisition of books and school supplies aimed at students of the Second Cycle of Early Childhood Education during the 2021-2022 academic year who carry out their studies in public schools or in the catholic center of Benidorm. Families with children born in 2016, 2017 and 2018 will be able to benefit from them.
The Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, has specified that to access the call "the family unit must be registered in the city prior to March 9, 2021" and that the deadline to request them "opens today, 1 July, and may be completed until September 20, inclusive ”.
Moreno has also clarified that the grants "will be processed ex officio by the Education department for schoolchildren born in 2016 and 2017 who already obtained it last year" and that they must complete the application "families of children born in 2018 and in 2016 and 2017 that had not obtained it in the previous call ”corresponding to the 2020-2021 academic year.
Grants can be requested at the Municipal branch in La Cala, Foietes-Colonia Madrid, Els Tolls-Salt de l’Aigua and Ricón de Loix; in the Department of Education, located on the third floor of the town hall building; and electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of Benidorm City Council at the web address: sede.benidorm.org.
In addition to the duly completed application, the interested family units must attach a photocopy of the Family Book or birth certificates; a photocopy of the DNI / NIE of the applicant parent and, in the event of separation or divorce, the court ruling.
