The City Council and Obra Social 'La Caixa' call for a new edition of "Entrepreneur Ideas Competition"
Obra Social 'La Caixa' will collaborate one more year with Benidorm City Council in the implementation of initiatives and projects aimed at generating employment and new businesses. This has announced this morning by the councilwoman of the area, Mª Jesús Pinto who has met, along with municipal technical staff, with the representatives of the entity, Tomasa Rives and Francesc Pérez.
The councilwoman of Employment and Local Development has stated that the representatives of Obra Social 'La Caixa' have expressed their "predisposition" to continue collaborating with projects considered as "priority" that focus "on improving the conditions of access to the employment, specific support for groups of difficult employment and support for new entrepreneurs who start their activity in Benidorm ". Among the initiatives that will continue to be supported by the entity, Mª Jesús Pinto has highlighted the 'Entrepreneurial Ideas Competition' that this year will reach its fifteenth edition.
Mª Jesús Pinto thanked the collaboration offered by 'La Caixa' because its "commitment" allows "to continue projects and initiate new experiences" that together entail "a high degree of satisfaction for its participants".
Obra Social 'La Caixa' is the set of social actions carried out by 'La Caixa Banking Foundation. It has a budget of more than 520 million euros (data from 2018) and is one of the most important foundations in the world.
