Citizen Security renews the vehicle of the Rural section of the Local Police
The Department of Public Security has acquired a new off-road vehicle for the Rural section of the Local Police, which replaces the one that until now served in the surveillance of rural areas of forests and garden of Benidorm. The Councilor for Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez, explained that this SUV joins the municipal fleet by means of "the contract of 'leasing' by which three hybrid vehicles were acquired a few months ago."
Martínez has indicated that with this SUV for the Rural "the fleet reaches 20 vehicles" and progress is made in the renewal of it. In fact, "only the acquisition of the patrol car, which is practically ready, would be for this year, that of several scooters and that of a quad, all of them in tender."
With all these new vehicles, "in 2018 we will not have to renew any," said the councilman.
